"The hotel has amazing character and suits those looking to experience British history! Super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and quite out there interior design vs the boring modern hotels. The poached eggs with the breakfast were also some of the best I have ever had."

"Terrible customer service. I was told directly by the hotel that changing my dates would be okay, but when Expedia asked them to issue the waiver needed, they refused. So in reality they said what sounded nice on the phone, then failed to back it up with action. Very misleading and extremely frustrating to deal with. Friendly at first glance, but completely unhelpful when it actually mattered. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Large, clean room overlooking the bay. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Breakfast was of a good standard. If I was really going to nit pick I'd say the carpet near the sliding door to access the bedroom was getting threadbare. Other than that it was all good."
