"Our family loved the large room that slept 6 in beds and also had fold out couch--rare to find room for 8! Very large and clean. However, breakfast was not great--afrer the good reviews, I was expecting better. It was very minimal continental with few offerings, not even a waffle iron. I would stay here again because the room was that good but would just adjust my expectations for the minimal breakfast"

"First thing to be clear. This is an extended stay hotel meaning complementary breakfast is not included as a typical for all extended hotel. Stay brands in this class. That out of the way, the stay was excellent. I’d made a request for a quiet room on the fourth floor on Expedia and the hotel honored it no problem. The check-in clerk was unbelievably warm and kind to put a smile on my face. Bed was very comfortable and room was spotless. Location is great for Amarillo area. You’re located in a medical office park so it’s very quiet. Two minor things which are largely irrelevant. One is they doing construction in the area and it can be difficult to find hotel at night. Two the bathroom is equipped with an automatic sensor light. More than once I was in the shower and the light turned itself off and had to fumble in the dark to turn it back on. Aside from these two ridiculously small things this is an awesome place to stay."

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Amarillo Mid-City

10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean, bathroom nice but a bit cramped. Microwave had issues with opening it. TV was a bit confusing to operate, then no local news channels. Breakfast was excellent. They actually had round sausage instead of links. I would advise getting room in back away from the freeway. "
