Hotels of this standard with spas are often outside the centre so it was great to stay here - to be so comfortable and so close to shops, restaurants, walks etc. The staff person in reception gave a us a map and outlined a walk round the city which we took, and saw all the main sites, especially the old historic quarter. What a fantastic hotel, right in the heart of the city. The hotel itself has an eclectic mix of memorabilia, mainly centred in the music industry - and even boasts its own recording studio. The staff are very attentive and professional, and the whole place feels wonderfully relaxed. The Expedia description doesn’t mention parking, but don’t let this put you off. There is both on street parking as well as an underground car park within 100m of the hotel.

Absolutely stunning hotel. From arrival to departure the staff were exceptional. Suite with sea view was perfect, comfortable bed, fluffy towels, bottled water, gorgeous toiletries and coffee machine. View of the stars was mesmerising, listening to the waves at night to drift off to sleep was so relaxing. Spa was excellent, clean, tidy, well maintained. Very stylish hotel, well located in central Rennes with a well prices public car park just next door. Rooms are well sized, comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and welcoming.

The property is a classic chateau. All the creaks and noises of an old property that adds to this amazing charm. The staff are amazing and so helpful. The welcome drinks in the room and snacks are a 5 star service that you wouldn't get in a 5 star hotel. Will definitely book again. Absolutely perfect.

We booked a room on the front of the building and the view is amazing - I would recommend one of these rooms - our whole stay was fantastic, views amazing, rooms lovely, friendly staff, The hotel is a easy walk along the seafront to the town, where there is access to food / restaurants / bars , clothes, hire companies, boats to the other islands etc ….
