"Staffs were really friendly and so helpful. Room is very clean and there was daily housekeeping. Soap and shampoo and towel was available Breakfast buffet was amazing😋 There was 2 swimming pool near the beach And finally the great view from the room. This hotel is close to bentota railway station but sometimes no stop there. Totally that was perfect experience "

"It is poorly managed and run down place. Pro - Beach is 200m away after crossing open train tracks. Cons - Run down old house - next to the train tracks (last train at midnight and the first at 3am) the whole room will vibrate with noise. - consistent power cuts and they dont have back up power source ( temp was around 32c) - There was no AC remote in the room and was made to pay UDS 10 to get the remote or you can burn in the heat. "The hotel is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. I have been to this hotel as a child and it was a fantastic hotel back then but now its gone down so much! The room was dirty and had a terrible smell.The room looked like it wasn't clean for years. "We loved staying at Mihin villa with Mahinda and his family. We were initially booked for 2 nights but extended our stay to 4. Really comfortable room, big bathroom with hot water. The WiFi worked well and there was a fridge in the room which was an added bonus. Fantastic traditional breakfast cooked by Mahinda's wife which we ate in the lovely garden. "Clean property and room, walking distance to the beach. Also we had a good view from the balcony (partial sea). Very nice and accommodating staff. Suresh and Shami were very helpful. Good quality food and portion size (we didn't know that breakfast was included so I suggest checking with them beforehand). Only downside was that there were ants in our room but the staff cleaned the room promptly when we notified them. A minor thing - water pressure in the shower was low so if possible fix it."
