"The hotel is well situated, affordable, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Overall the stay was pleasant and I will likely be returning. The place does need some tender love and care but you can tell it would have been a true gem back in it's day. The beds are worn and need updating, the rooms are clean but could use some touching up, and some of the appliances and hardware are pretty outdated. The breakfast is mediocre, omelets are decent, however the rest is just very simple and lacks things...

"When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. "

"This property is actually part of Jaguar Reef (a total of 3 resorts) with 2 pools, multiple bars, food options and the amazing dock bar. We had such a fantastic time here. It was relaxing, but also there are plenty of activity options to book if you want to fill your day. Our room was top notch and felt luxurious. We can't say enough nice things about the staff. They took great care of us, learned out names, and made us feel at home. The staff and the people of Belize in general, are such...

"Paid over $600 US for three people, decided to leave San Pedro earlier than planned due to harassment by hawkers, emailed Amelias explaining would not be checking in, told no problem, go to hotel in person before arrival date for full refund. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable."
