"The staff was amazing. The rooms were very clean. The food was great! We stayed from Friday to Friday and all the food options were different from breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. My husband and I came here for my birthday and our anniversary. They made that day very special. They decorated the boat. Then in the evening we had a nice romantic decorated dinner by the fireplace. They came out singing happy birthday with a cake. It just felt like we were on a couple’s retreat. Oh and bring extra bug spray, aloe Vera gel and alcohol. Those bugs will tear you up. "

Hospitality at the forefront of everything and The Palms Kings Park exceeded every expectation and then some. The staff are incredible and the property was phenomenal. Attention to detail including safety and security. If you visit magical Belize and plan to stay in Belize City, stay here. Location is perfect! "Nice small boutique hotel with a lovely pool - the pool has a great view of the river, and a swim up bar. I'm not a big drinker, but had a fantastic selection of juices available every day. The person I was with tried a new mixed drink every day. The restaurant is lovely and generally quiet; we also had a good selection of breakfast buffet each day. And the service was always excellent - if I could give them 20/10 I would. Our suite was fantastic - a real suite with a living room and 2 separate bedrooms. All of them with a great view of the river outside. As a hotel, it is slightly better for people who are driving themselves. We frequently relied on the hotel's internal shuttle service (not free, but generally cheaper than getting a taxi), and it limited our dinner options. I expect that to change shortly - I can see the area being more built up in a year or so."
