"The British Colonial is nothing less than great! The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Food is amazing, especially their sushi. The beach is a stone throw away from the pool which is perfect to go back and forth throughout the day. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. "Hotel and grounds have definitely not been updated in a very long time. The pics are probably from when the hotel opened and are not accurate at this time. Found someone’s night cap behind the bedside table and small ants in the room. Staff was very nice and had an enjoyable time in the bar area. Excellent seafood quesadillas!"

"Overall great experience! The staff are the shining star of this property! From checking in to out and in between, we really liked the service! The resort is more on the quaint side, but my wife and I prefer that to behemoth, Atlantis across the street. The two is getting a bit long in the tooth and certainly the rooms could use a refresh. On the flip side, the location, staff, and food overcomes the aged bedding, etc. "
