"Overall, hotel is just ‘ok’. The room was clean, bed comfy. Options for pillow preference was great. Breakfast was the minimum, and not good. The staff are stoic, so their energy is a put off. The location has restaurants and cafés nearby, but there’s better locations in the city. (Definitely stay on the main roads.)"

"Viajo a BsAs una o dos veces al año y siempre me hospedo en el Faena. Este año decidí quedarme en el Madero y así ver que ofrecían. Me equivoqué. Ni bien llegué me extrañó ver el vallado y tantos policías en la puerta. Una vez adentro me enteré que había un equipo de futbol hospedado en el hotel. Le comenté al recepcionista que si iba a ser muy ruidoso prefería cancelar la reserva por que tenía reuniones temprano por la mañana y necesitaba descansar bien. Me dijo que no me preocupara que ellos sabían manejarlo. La cuestión es que no pude dormir por los ruidos de los festejos hasta las 5 AM. Al siguiente día estuve hecho un zombie. A las 4 AM me levanté de la cama y les dije que sino podían manejar esto iba a llamar a la policía. Fué ahí cuando un seguridad fué a la habitación de los futbolistas y a los 15 mins el la fiesta paró. Después me enteré que este Hotel hospeda equipos de futbol bastante seguido asi que no puedo entender como no supieron manejar esa situación. Al otro día el encargado de la recepción me pidió disculpas por lo sucedido y me dió un obsequio (un vino de 6 dolares) de parte de la gerencia en modo de disculpa. Mínimo no me tendrían que haber cobrado la noche. Me pareció una falta de respeto Así que si piensan hacer una reserva en ese hotel, primero pregunten si algun equipo de futbol se va a hospedar al mismo tiempo. Por que claramente quedó comprobado conmigo, que el resto de los clientes les importa poco"

"I had a few worries after reading Google reviews just before check-in, but my 10-night stay was absolutely fine (and great value). I booked a single room and got a double - even better, it was at the end of the building with a window opening to the outside instead of into the hallway. The extra space and fresh air was much appreciated for my long stay. The bed was comfy and the room had plenty of floor and surface space for all my stuff. There would be space for two, and though the bathroom door is glass, it's frosted and full-height so provides privacy. But only one side of the bed had a table and reading light. Great location - just off a main avenue with shops, cafes, restaurants, buses to everywhere right outside, and Subte stations for two underground lines within 10 mins walk. I felt safe walking alone as a woman even at night. Luggage was stored on a locked chain after checkout. Cleaning staff greeted me warmly in the hallways and the guy who checked me in was friendly. Points for improvement: - Room lighting is very dim, particularly over the desk. A desk lamp would help. - Comfier desk chair would be nice. - Lighting on the staircase could also be a bit brighter for safe climbing. - The shower door lets a lot of water out - the bathmat got soaked after only one or two showers, requiring daily changes. - Sheets/blanket and towels had some brown stains. - The way the bed is made with a sheet on top of the duvet folded under is annoying. - Only two pillows."
