Beautiful hotel in every way. The staff are the best I've ever known. Nothing is too much trouble and they all have a very friendly manner. The Concierge staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. The Hotel is perfect for ease of trips around the Cape and is only 5 mins walk from the V & A Waterfront. We booked a weeks break with another couple, it was our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotlessly clean and service was excellent. The food was great and also the themed restaurants were excellent especially the Alexandria. Kareem who worked on the 24hour lobby bar was funny, very polite and looked after us.

Excellent hotel for adults, nice beach and the variety of food is very good. The rooms in the new building are fantastic also. Special thanks to Omar and Hassan in the reception desk, and Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz and Abdou in the Italian restaurant Basilico.

Perfect spot, very central, staff are great, car parking available. Included breakfast was fab, both continental and cooked and you have a great view of Table Mountain while you have it. Rooms very comfortable and despite overlooking the car park and piazza, was surprisingly quiet. They had turn down service so we came back after night out to closed curtains, air con on and bottles of water beside the beds, which was a lovely touch. Fantastic hotel. Stayed here for a week with my wife and from the moment we set foot into the hotel the service from staff members was exceptional. Every staff member treats you with the utmost respect and care from concierge to the domestic services team. The room we had was amazing with an exceptional view. Excellent food and service

Really beautiful location next to the Nile. Bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Food locally sourced was really tasty. Everything had been thought of for a place to recharge batteries. Great staff and opportunities for local walks with guides. Felt really safe. Picture windows look out over the falls. I’d far rather come here than any expensive Kampala hotel

This is a really great hotel. We had a Family Duplex room for us and our two small children - the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely view over Gordons Bay. The hotel staff, and especially the restaurant staff provided really first class service. One tip - don't take the buffet breakfast option. The a la carte breakfast is amazing and excellent value for money. Do that instead.

This was an excellent experience on all levels, they arranged our transfer from Airport no problems at check in, complimentary cold drink waiting at the check in desk. Food was of a high standard and varied each day, specials offered each day in main restaurant. The food at the different bars around the pool and on the beach also very good.
