The hotel is very close to the hiking trails. If you like a Dunkin coffee there is one attached to the building. There was a problem with customers smoking in the room next to ours, but it was resolved professionally by the staff.

The area was a bit sketchy. The doors from outside do not lock. The room was fine a bit dated and older. It was relatively clean. Could use updates. I recommend bringing towels as the ones provided are small and few. It served its purpose for the time we were there.

Back door mag lock wires cut and electical tape around mechanism. So basically anyone can walk in. Room was clean but needed new drywall on shower ceiling , it had been parched poorly. Picnic tables had signs to watch screws popping out when you sat down.

The property needs some serious updates. None of the locks on the outside doors worked. Anyone from the street could walk in. There was no place to eat after 8. The bar was cool and the bartender was very friendly on karaoke night. The pool was nice except the ladder was broken on the side and very dangerous. Getting extra towels was a headache. There were 4 people in my group and when I asked for extra towels they brought me one and a hand towel. The room itself had a smell to it like mold or something. The sheets were not the cleanest. This hotel was good for what we stayed for…a place to sleep at night when you are far from home.
