"Daytona is a hard place to find a good clean hotel at a price u can afford. And this is a really nice & clean, and staff were always at front desk if any problems. Plus had maid service every morning, which is something u hardly get anymore. Can’t go wrong here"

"Upon walking up to the building, I noticed it hasn’t seen a pressure washer since 1920. Bugs cover every window, outside chair, ceilings, gazebo.. infested. When I entered the building, I was greeted by the smell of mold. Understandably it’s an old building, but it near knocked me out. Once I got into my room, I stepped foot on a crunchy stained rug that’s probably never seen a shampoo. The bathroom was extremely basic and a bugs of course stuck to the wall. While I shower with soap filled hair, suddenly the water stopped, and again and again and this continued every time we used water. Upon lifting the sheets to snuggle up in bed, I’m greeted by not one but 3 mosquitos stuck to the inside of the sheets. Then look to my left and see another bug that I cannot name exactly. Completely exhausted, I grabbed the blanket I took from home, thank god. I turned to plug my phone in bed and what do you know, there’s no plug and some random guests bracelet waited patiently for me to find it. During the night the AC continuously turns on/off and the room will fluctuate significantly. I felt a hot flash all night long, sweating to freezing. Finally morning, we eagerly pack our things and go to check out. Im told there’s “complimentary coffee” and I’m excited by one final let down… the most horrible bitter bottom shelf coffee you can buy. Thanks supervisor of Lakeside Inn for being the worst host & least compassionate person. Your declining to reconcile this is GROSSLY irresponsible. "

"Perfect Beach Views, Clean Rooms, Donuts and coffee in the morning, free parking. The staff is the best at any place I have ever stayed at; they are friendly and willing to help with anything that you may need. Perry's is not a 5 Star resort, but it is a pleasant place to stay and unwind that doesn't break your bank account. Direct access to the beach, 3 pools and a nice onsite Tiki Bar for adult beverage's. I will be back!"

"I'll start with the breakfast, which was very bad, especially the eggs and sausages. The cleanliness wasn't very good, and the window in the room, which is supposed to be for looking outside, is completely fogged up on the inside, making it impossible to see out. The service at reception leaves much to be desired."

"The cabana roomed we stayed in was very convenient for beach access but the fixtures in the room were a mess. Broken chairs, stained furniture and the AC hanging on for dear life. Most of the time it was cooler outside than in the room. Images online are the rooms when they were brand new, of course, but they're in rough shape these days. Many elevators on site were out of service and the main pool was completely closed, so we were paying for amenities we didn't get the opportunity to utilize. Youth event happened to be going on when we attended so the small other pool was absolutely slammed (not the hotel's fault) Used to love this hotel a great deal and have been many times. Splurged a bit on one of their nicer rooms and it was a disaster, frankly."
