"Had a great view of the opera house, bed was comfy except it seemed to be two smaller beds combined to form a king so sleeping directly in the center was uncomfortable. Bathroom was nice, hot shower and hot tub were great. Breakfast was very accommodating with a great view of the harbor. However, it seems the best time to go was at the start time when the staff weren’t overburdened with drink orders and cleaning tables. "

"As a result of a cancelled flight, I found myself here. They were extremely helpful at the front counter. There is a new self check in process that gives you your room key. This is amazing and so easy to use. The staff were also happy to sneak in a free room upgrade for us. Amazing room, amazing everything. This will now be my go to hotel when I stay in Sydney. Also being located next to public transport/train station is very handy. If you are more of a family traveler or a light night snacker, Maccas and KFC as well as an All Hours Deli is right across the road."

The location is excellent and walkable to so many spots, making it super convenient. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and upscale, and I really liked the overall atmosphere. "Meriton Suites Sussex Street is a fantastic property! We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was spacious, modern, and very comfortable.
