"The reason for 5 stars is down to the staff all of whom were kind and helpful, particularly Michael. The room was very clean but has certainly seen better days and the bathroom was very cramped although had a good shower. The hotel is well situated in the centre of Carlisle in the heart of the shopping ..."

"This is our 3rd time at this hotel. We had a junior suite which was overlooking the beautiful lawn and Mountain View’s Evening meals were fabulous. The service foal staff was excellent. Can’t wait to return."
