"We were only in Abu Dhabi for an overnight stopover on our flight home. We chose the Ritz Carlton both for its reputation as well as its proximity to the grand mosque so we could take an after hours tour. The service was outstanding and very friendly. The room was large and comfortable. And the mosque in the background made for an almost fairy tale setting. I would definitely love to spend more time at this hotel in the future. "

However, breakfast could be improved — there was no information on how to order items like eggs, or what drinks/coffee options were available, and staff didn’t ask if I had requests. It was also disappointing that no dining discount was offered for guests, and this wasn’t mentioned at check-in. I also had to wait about 30–45 minutes for my room to be ready on arrival.
Despite these points, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel for its atmosphere and setting.

"Great hotel, excellent staff and service. The team that took care of Fairmount Gold Club guests was outstanding. The housekeeping was a bit of hit and miss. On the fifth floor, the rooms were not being cleaned well. On the 7th floor, they were immaculate. The windows of the hotel were quite dirty from outside. The hotel should clean them more often.
The breakfast was excellent. I wish the hotel had another pool inside for extremely hot periods."
