Staff were excellent. The lodge is a little tired in places, in need of a revamp in my opinion, but still a wonderful experience. Lovely evening meal, limited menu, and breakfast.

Loved the setting, the staff were really really helpful and friendly. Home cooked meals were great value. Night walk was amazing. I have not got a bad word to say about it!

Possibly my most favourite accommodation that ive eber stayed in! The cabins were spotless and comfortable and the staff and restaurant were fantastic. You really feel like you're staying in the middle of the beautiful rainforest whilst enjoying comfort. I loved staying here and can't recommend it enough

Plan for rain, its the rainforest. Everything about our stay was amazing, from the breathtaking scenery to the staff, who accommodated our needs perfectly. Reccommend the night walk in the rainforest with Kane, so much beautiful nature in the worlds oldest rainforest. Awe inspiring stuff.

Cape Trib beach house gives you the opportunity to have a secluded bit of rainforest and beach away from the busier parts of the Daintree. The restaurant is good, portions are large. You can sit on an idyllic beach with just a couple of others hearing and seeing the rainforest animals as waves lap upon the beach. We saw Cassowary at the property twice in our 3 day stay. Even before we arrived, we were contacted by the girls introducing themselves and asking if there was anything we needed. We arrived at By The Sea at midnight, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we wanted to stay longer.  It is the most friendliest welcoming hotel you can wish to visit. There are so many extras for you to use free of charge, deck chairs, bikes, cool boxes, ice packs, inflatables - I could go on and on but so many things to list. I was travelling with my family and this was the last stop on their holiday so wanted something comfortable near the beach/shops and some quiet and privacy and this ticked all the boxes. Nice helpful family who own the apartments and nothing much more to add apart from it was a really great 5 night stay there

Excellent knowledgeable staff regarding local area and tours

We had a lovely stay, the location in port douglas was perfect with a nice walk to town. The staff were extremely helpful. The apartment was very spacious on 2 levels and perfect for 2 adults and an infant.

Amazing property and facilities and staff are lovely. Lots of restaurants, shops and rhings to do within walking distance. Close to the marina and easy to book tours nearby.

We stayed here in a two bedroom apartment for four nights in early July and found the whole experience to be excellent. The location is fantastic, close to the supermarket and every other shop or restaurant you might need and walking distance from almost everything else (trips to Great Barrier Reef and beach, etc).
