This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the river and just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. As soon as we arrived this hotel felt special - you can completely relax whilst you are there and it is a nice contrast to staying in District 1. I would imagine that some people might not like being so far away from the centre of things, and traffic can be a pain, but we felt it was more than worth it! The property is gorgeous - I cannot fault it and the rooms are spacious and well maintained. We...

The lobby is beautiful and we found the location ideal. We used Grab taxis to go everywhere, They were very cheap. The staff are so helpful and very friendly. The breakfast buffet has an amazing selection of food. The pool was accessible, as the hotel catered for a lot of business men, it was never busy and adequate sunbeds. We were in the rainy season so never stayed by the pool all day, also off sightseeing. The only criticism is the room smelt a bit, the rest of the hotel has piped scent...

Such welcoming staff. We had a huge panic with misplaced passports when we arrived and the staff at the hotel were so helpful and understanding and genuinally concerned I will never forget that. The rooms were so homely and nice. They booked some excursions for us and made our stay so welcoming. On our first morning the hotel owner told us where to go and what to do and gave us a map which is something he does with all guests it was so helpful for us as we had no idea where to go. You can tell...

Bay Hotel Ho Chi Minh

10/10 Excellent

Bay Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City was excellent. Rooms were lovely, a bit noisy but that is be expected due to the prime location near the river and in the city centre. Rooms very clean and particularly liked the propeller bar and the friendliest of 2 members of staff (male and female) that were extremely helpful. The pool was great, with lovely views of the river and surrounding area. Only thing we would improve was we felt the lady behind check in was a bit brisk in her manner, we talking to use...

Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel

Downtown Ho Chi Minh City

10/10 Excellent

I had a very comfortable stay at the Sheraton Saigon. In fact it was two one-night stays, with a night in between spent in a different location. One night I received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, which was excellent. A very clean and comfortable hotel, right in the centre of town. Walking to the Notre Dame church and post office took around 3 minutes, and maybe another 5 minutes walk to the market. All in all, a great hotel in a central location.
