"My room had an awful smell from the bathroom and the TV channels kept freezing, I discussed with the staff the following day, they ensured housekeeping would see to it. Housekeeping did indeed attend my room only to throw the bedcovers back, empty the bin and leave it with no bag, left all the dirty cups and didn’t replace the tea and milk, and the smell was still there! I eventually told them I want a room change which they did, but this isn’t the first time I’ve stayed here and I’ve always found housekeeping to be useless and never makeup the rooms properly."

"My stay was lovely the room needed a bit of tlc but bed was really comfortable and room was cleaned. Staff were very attentive and friendly nothing was too much trouble. This is my second stay in a couple of years and would almost definitely book again. The lift was being refurbished but was notified of this in ample time that I could have cancelled my stay but as this was not a problem for myself to climb the stairs I continued with my booking. "

"I had a terrible experience with my hotel booking yesterday. I made the reservation in the morning and informed the owner, John, that we would arrive late, after 9:00 PM. She told me there would be a £60 late check-in charge, which I agreed to. At 9:00 PM, she messaged me, and I explained that due to traffic and an accident, we would be delayed by about an hour. She responded rudely, telling me to call when I arrived, and I agreed. Before reaching the property, I messaged her at 10:55 PM to confirm our arrival time, and although she read the message, she did not reply. When we arrived at 10:55 PM, I called her, but she had blocked my number. I tried again from another phone, but after several attempts, she also blocked that number. (I have all proof in my phone).
