"Everything was fine, room comfortable. Excellent shower! Breakfast (buffet) was somehow included and it was plentiful. Requested a decaf cappuccino and they got me one. They also remembered my request the following day! Drinks at the bar were good but a bit expensive (in CAD$)"

"This Hotel is a MUST to stay in.As you drive up you think you are in a time machine as you approach this gorgeous edifice from another century.Th...e rooms are spacious and you feel as if you are either in a castle or a museum. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Located only a short walk from the ferrys to the islands.breakfast was out of thos world.Fantastic choices everyday with spectacular service.This is the Hotel to choose if you are going to visit Lake Maggiore. "

"The hotel is very old but nicely updated. They offer a free shuttle to the airport. The rooms are a nice size and bathrooms are spacious. Not too many amenities but you don’t need them if you are just spending the night before flying out. We walked to the bakery, pub and gelato (which is right down the alley). We also had a very good dinner in the hotel restaurant. The check in clerk was super nice and very helpful."

"Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff allowed us to check in early and check out late. They even gifted my Fiance and I a champagne bottle. Room was beautiful clean and the views were amazing!"

"Amazing staff that cannot do enough for you, its a little out of the way with 4 restaurants nearby but the walk to them is not easy as there are few pavements on a windy road. But went to bellagio and varenna where its busier. I would recommend the hotel for a quieter location away from the busy crowds "
