"Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room."

"Lovely hotel, my 1st time staying there. I had requested early check in, it wasn't available, asked that i was phoned when the rooom was ready, that didn't happen i went to the desk at 3pm adn was booked in. Very clean comfortable room, my one niggle is why in so many hotels is there never a shelf big enough for a normal sized toiletry bag? A shelf with glasses for toothbrushes or a niche in the wall of a about 3 inches depth is no use so we end up putting our toiletry bags in the bedroom or on the floor, neither of which is ideal. It is as if whoever designed the room didn't try one out to see what might be missing;)"

"We have stayed on numerous occasions and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The amenities are good. Breakfast excellent, parking good. Two things that could be improvd for us ... some of the rooms are a lttle tired and the fridge was not working in th Grand Suite."

"We stayed in mid July. The hotel has a nice vibe but is looking a little bit tired in places and in need of a bit of a spruce. The rooms were incredibly hot. a fan was supplied but it was pretty ineffective. I hate to think what it would have been like during the height of the heatwave when temperatures were 10 degrees hotter. Hotel is well located for the centre of town with everything within a short walking distance. Didn't eat at the restaurant but did use the bar. Staff friendly."

"Great hotel great location everything in walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful couldn't fault them at all! Biggest disappointment was there was no lift, I had a a 16month old and had to carry buggy up stairs to second floor. When I booked I wasn't made aware there was no lift. I managed, many of the staff offered many times to help carry buggy upstairs for us. I recommend this hotel."

"Lovely hotel with good size comfortable room and amenities. Staff very good and attentive. Good outside space and games room. Special thanks to the South African lady in the the dining room who remained unflappable and very polite when many diners turned up at the same time for breakfast. Really nice two night stay with bus stop at the end of the drive for easy access to Statford. Would love to revisit."
