I had a wonderful stay overall. The room was spotless and very comfortable, the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely outstanding – truly a highlight of the visit. The only drawback was the Wi-Fi in the bedrooms, which was quite poor and not ideal for a business trip. Otherwise, a brilliant experience.

Enjoyed our stay. However, bedroom was dark with what appeared to be low lighting levels. Didn’t like having to go outside to get to reception and restaurant. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was lovely. Would visit again

We booked Luxury Room using Tesco Vouchers. Room was gorgeous! Lovely big tv, original features, tea/coffee making facility, topped up during day. Reception is in the new building, restaurant upstairs and small bar downstairs. We ate the 3 course dinner and cooked breakfast, food was delicious! Staff are so friendly, great stay would come again.
