"The hotel was terrible. We were supposed to stay seven nights. We only lasted 3 nights. Our room was never cleaned despite our requests. It was 27.5 degrees in the room while it was 25 degrees outside. Impossible to air out the room. On top of that, this hotel had the bright idea of placing our room next to a noisy road, even though we were staying 7 nights and were entitled to a quieter room with the possibility of airing it out. Best Western Fowey Valley

"Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and also for dinner time. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. There is a good amount of parking onsite and the village is all well within walking distance. We did find the bed / mattress a little on the hard side and the fan was very noisy so we couldn't keep it on overnight."

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Future Inn Hotel Plymouth. Every time we have stayed at this hotel it has been excellent. Unfortunately it is due to close at the end of Sept 2026 to be taken over by Premier Inn & due to open in Jan 2027. Premier Inn apparently will be charging £10 a night to park your car whilst staying at the hotel !!! I think we will look for somewhere else to stay if that is to be the case. You are paying to stay at a hotel & they want to charge you for parking your car ???"

"We stayed in a lodge which was clean and fully equipped. There was even a washing machine, although I would have preferred a dishwasher (but that is a personal choice). Staff was friendly and meals very good. I would recommend a lodge for a longer stay and a room in the stately manor for a few nights. Definitely a positive experience!"

"We had a nice clean and modern room which gave us plenty of room. The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. We were there to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary so would have liked a sea view room but we couldn’t run to the expenditure of that. Maybe another time. Breakfast was also perfect. We will definitely go to Fowey again as the views over the river was amazing. Thankyou for making our break so enjoyable."
