"Propeety grounds were beautiful. Our upstairs room (# 1523) stayed cool, but I heard of others having a hard time getting their room to cool off. The food was nothing to brag about. We didnt go hungry, but it was not good. The dinner buffet was comparable to Wester Sizzlin's worst day. The lunch buffet was not very good either. The breakfast buffet was the best of the three. For their "specialty" restaurants, you are only allowed one meal for every three days stay. Reserve those as soon as you can! We waited a couple of days and were only able to reserve the Mexican restaurant. It was okay, no complaints on it. We heard the Oriental restaurant was really good, but they didnt have any availability when we went to reserve the restaurants. (Aagain, reserve your restaurant ASAP). The taco stand across the road and down a little bit was AMAZING! FOOD WAS VERY GOOD! I would highly recommend going there. The place is a little sketchy looking, and we seen a bat flying around inside, but the food was good! Haha! This would be a perfect place for little kids (minus the food situation), as the pools, and games that they do throughout the day, were great. If you are a diver, the location is great as well. They have a peer that the dive boats can pick you up from. There is a per day, per person fee to use the dock. One day we went and it was a $5.00 per person, another day it was $15 per person. These fees are in addition to the "excursion" that you are doing. 3 out of 5 stars"

"Casa Mexicana has been my go-to place to stay for the past 6 years. Located right downtown, it's very convenient and there are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. There are always Taxis waiting just in front which makes it easy to go anywhere on the island. The staff at Casa Mexicana are all very friendly and do everything they can to make my stay comfortable. Rooms are very clean and the air conditioning is excellent in the rooms. I highly recommend Casa Mexicana to anyone wanting a clean, cool, convenient place to stay while on Coumel."
