"Quite simply, BRILLIANT! Set in a beautiful country location this hotel is so peaceful, yet only a few minutes drive from the NEC, Meriden and the motorway network. Every member of staff is polite, courteous and helpful. The whole hotel has a certain opulence. The rooms are a good size without being too large, have comfortable beds, sumptuous pillows and the bathrooms are all with a bath and shower and pleasant for a good soak. Always there is hot water with no running problems. The rooms are well lit. Fully lined curtains ensure a good night's sleep. The tv has high and clear definition. There is a decent kettle and coffee, tea, sufficient milk and biscuits are supplied. There is a largish desk with a smoked glass top, two pleasant easy chairs accompanied by a small round table, not to mention the standard lamp close by. Everywhere is very clean and the hotel always smells nice. I usually eat in the bar and have always had first class meals. There is a good range of beers too. The bar is a very pleasant informal place to eat and relax after a day out. The breakfasts are very comprehensive and nicely cooked. There is an array of cereals, full English breakfast, full range of croissants, muffins, fruit. good choice of coffee, fruit juices and tea. The restaurant is most pleasant. There is a lift -no lugging cases upstairs.Pleasant secure carpark.No noise at night. Staff great. Best hotel in area. "

"Our room was ready for check-in rm 122. The shut window let alot of noise in from busy road. Pillows arent the comfiest. The breakfast was good, nice selection, hot english breakfast and tasty crispy bacon. My night was disturbed at 1.30am-2.30am by noisy guests slamming door and arguing loudly so it disturbed my sleep and didnt then feel safe. The car park is £5 surcharge which should just be added to the hotel booking cost as where else does one park! Location is good, near to spa and decent restaurants."

"Lovely Swimming pool and jacuzzi me and my Kids enjoyed our stay. Restaurant was a nice Atmosphere with great food. The breakfast was lovely very nice and clean area space. Unfortunately on arrival The Receptionist was abruptly rude and very unfriendly which i did address her about. The very rude Unfriendly Receptionist let down the ratings i give this hotel. "

"Easy parking (for a reduced fee). Hotel staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I've stayed here before, and will definitely stay again. This hotel represents good value for money."

"Overall stay was OK. Have been many times before and would go again. However, not sure if unlucky with the room on this occasion. The toilet was very slow filling after flush. Kettle leaked water making it unsafe to use, so didn't use it. Fridge was difficult to open due to door leaning towards floor and needed to prop it up. Would make sure I'm in a different room if I stay again."
