"We recently stayed 9 nights at Majestic Mirage for our anniversary in an ocean-facing rooftop pool room, and overall we had a wonderful vacation. The room itself was fantastic—spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the mini fridge was stocked daily, which we really appreciated. One small thing we did miss was the aromatherapy in the room, which we had when we stayed at Majestic Elegance next door previously. It was such a nice touch there. Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was very clean every day, and Vicky (our room attendant) made sure we always had plenty of fresh towels and everything we needed. Her attention to detail was appreciated. The staff throughout the resort were truly the highlight of our stay. A special thank you to Fili, one of the bartenders, who was super personable, friendly, and kind. He always took the time to talk with us, make great drinks and made every visit to the bar fun. José Louis, another bartender, was also fantastic and provided great service. Our butler Ana was sweet and helpful, always checking in and making sure we were taken care of. At the Italian restaurant for breakfast and lunch, Gasper and the lovely hostess there ( forgot her name sorry) were incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to please. The food there was great and we looked forward to going back. We had a great 9-night stay, and the wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, and relaxing atmosphere made for a memorable vacation."

"The resort is easily accessible from the airport. Property is a little dated but clean and staff is excellent. Ocean view room was worth the upgrade. The beach at the property is small and has eroded since last stay. Not a deal breaker, but there is better. Very walkable beach. Resort is smaller in size which is preferable for our liking. Pool options and entertainment were adequate. The largest drawback from previous stay was the food and restaurant’s. They restrict your options for booking specialty restaurants to 3 per stay. The food options and buffet are just ok. The food options and quality of food has regressed significantly. Best options were from the daily pool side “chef” events and pizza. For a seven day stay, food options and quality will have me looking for a better option in the future unless improved. We have stayed at better for the same price. Keep your great staff, but you have to improve your meals and availability. "

"Plus- Bartenders Erik and Giovanni were great. Room was clean and spacious with nice amenities. Beach and Club pool were nice and well maintained with attentive friendly staff. Minus- For some reason on a couple occasions restaurants would not seat us outside when tables were available. This was not a kitchen management issue because inside seating was available immediately. Check in was a bit clunky with a long wait for a "butler" to escort us to our Club room."

"We stayed in block 27. Our balcony had a decent view out to the beach. Overall the resort was great. Food was great, w/ each restaurant offering a good variety. The buffet also changed up the food every day, which was refreshing. We had booked through Expedia and as such an Expedia Concierge had pre-booked our family of 4 for dinner at each of the restaurants, which worked out great & was one headache we didn't have to worry about. As such, I can't comment on how easy it is to get reservations. My understanding is that the Adults only side has a heated, pool, but since we were with the kids I can't confirm. The other pools are not heated. There is some debate we saw online about them being 'too cold', but at 28C/82F its refreshing to cool off in the pool or the lazy river. We didn't find it overly 'cold'. The beach was great as well. Soft sand, clean beachfront. The waves can get a tad big on windy days if you have little ones. One thing to note is that people looooove to reserve pool chairs and beach chairs. I had to wake up and be down by 7:30 to ensure we got seats by the pool and at the beach. Even then, on at least 1 of the days we were out of luck by the pool. We did check out the arcade, which seemed a bit pricey for us Canadians ($2USD/ea). Only downside was our bathroom needed some TLC. Loose fixtures in the shower, toilet door wouldn't latch, some mold in the shower, & water pressure was really weak. One day we were without hot water, but it was fixed by 8pm"
