This is not our first visit to the salty dog, we usually travel with our Westie Iona who is treated like a vip here. So when travelling without her we didn’t hesitate to book again. The rooms are all different with a personally to suit their shape and position in the hotel. They are clean and comfortable. The team from breakfast through to bed time a warm friendly and keen to do what ever it takes to make your stay perfect. Such a relaxed and welcoming environment. The breakfast is fresh and...

A friendly comfortable upmarket hotel with a very reasonable room rate. The Bar even stocks local Craft bottled beers from FARMAGGEDON, just 8 miles up the road.

Friendly host, good breakfast and rooms well equipped with things that you would need for a short stay.

Lovely break in Pier 36. Great accommodation and lovely bar/restaurant

Beautiful guesthouse with delightful, helpful, hosts.

All was Amazing

Wonderful stay. Fabulous room, attentive staff, delicious food.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here. It was ideal as we landed at George best airport and it was only a short drive away. We were greeted at the front desk by this lovely gentleman who made us feel more than welcome. Helped us with where to get food despite the late hour. He even stored my partners insulin in the fridge somewhere safe. The beds were very comfortable and we had no disturbances all night. Highly recommend!!

The hotel was wonderful - we had a lovely, spacious, quiet room. Breakfast was excellent as were the meals we had in the Bistro and in the restaurant. It exceeded our expectations - the reviews had made us nervous of noise etc. from wedding parties but we were there across a busy August weekend with weddings and a coach party and it didn't affect us at all. We were visiting our son who was working in Belfast and we had hired a car so we could tour around. He was also able to get taxis to us...

Fantastic stay. Staff couldnt be more helpful

Had a great stay. Lovely hotel. Lovely staff. Very clean.

We chose this hotel as a base to visit surrounding areas and for a return flight from Belfast City airport. So I was pleasantly surprised to find it was excellent. Walking into the reception area you find a lovely wooden spiral staircase. The rooms were spacious and our window looked over to the sea. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was also ample wardrobe space. The bathroom had the usual toiletries with a large walk-in shower. Everything was clean, four fluffy towels and two...

Stayed here while at the Peter Kay show in Belfast. Hotel was in a great location to SSE just a short walk. Room was perfect for our visit with plenty of space and came with a good selection of toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron & ironing board and was also equipped with a fridge. Bathroom was als

Clean well appointed room. Staff were very helpful. No food available in the evening hours unfortunately, not even a sandwich, so be warned

Stayed for one night and could not fault it. In particular, the staff were attentive and extremely pleasant. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was lovely with great service and it was reasonably priced. The hotel is city centre so a very good location but you will get a view of the street. Our room was a good size and very clean and overall hotel was clean and very nice.

Such a wonderful local gem! Excellent value for money, the room was impeccably clean, modern, and super cozy. Carol was a fantastic host who couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

This was our 2nd stay here. We and our dog were made feel very welcome and had the lovliest relaxing stay. Beautiful property with great relaxation spaces and the breakfasts were delicious. Wonderful place, we would definitely recommend a stay here!

Excellent hotel in an ideal location for access to most of Northern Ireland. Arrived off the ferry late to be met at reception with a smile and help to my room. The staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for you, from reception to the restaurant was first class. The food is well prepared and the portions are large, including the Ulster breakfast, which I struggled to finish. Room was spotless, with everything you needed in it without having to ask for anything and internet was available...

Great time at the merchant. The staff were so helpful, the rooftop hot tub had fantastic views and the beds really comfy.
