"The best aspect of this property is its location. The location couldn't be better. Second, it is very clean and efficient for a couple or single who want(s) the bare bones. Street parking is ample and steps from the Nest. The two drawbacks to the property are that this is a completely turnkey operation - there is no one on site - and there are no amenities. This is a compact house that has been converted into a four room guesthouse with a communal galley micro kitchen. We stayed on the upper floor. The stairs are small and noisy (comically creaky - but to be fair we heard no other guest noise during our stay but it possible we were the only guests at the property). The room itself is on the small side but it worked fine for us. The bathroom is a bit tight but again efficient and worked fine. My biggest complaint is value - this was a relatively expensive place to stay ($450+ a night) for very little other than a place to rest your head and shower, albeit in a great location. If it were priced at 250 or under, I would wholeheartedly recommend it for a couple looking for an efficient, no frills but well located stay in charming Hudson."

"We love Hudson, and used to be there all the time, so this was to be a fond return. We also love the Wick and where it is set. But we really don’t want to be at a wedding venue, where that becomes the focus for the property. We certainly don’t want to be up until 3 AM because of noisy celebrants. But the man at the front desk was very responsive when I called about that. We would also like to think that a slight extension on checkout, from 11 AM until noon, is the reasonable norm. Especially on a Sunday, in a town like Hudson, where not many would be expected to arrive. As it was, we were up for our anniversary, 38th to be exact, but I had to run a class online until noon, as I do every Saturday and Sunday morning. I thought I would be able to do so at the Wick, but I guess I know better moving forward."

"This little inn is a rural escape just off the main roads. We checked in and met the beautiful Maggie the bird who was tagging along with the property manager. The room we booked online ended up being occupied by a tenant who stayed an additional night but the manager switched us into another room without any trouble."

"Adorable little spot right off the Main Street. Property was very modern and well maintained. There is a little communal mini kitchen with a fridge, microwave, etc. Management was so helpful. There was a problem with the automatic system sending out incorrect room codes and Kayla got right on top of it to remedy. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

"There was nothing I can complain about the room beautiful clean very comfortable very relaxing. I might add wonderful. They took care of me right away gave me a first floor and accommodated me and helped me with another problem. I needed to get closer to my venue where the wedding was help. It’s very helpful thank you so much."

"The room was clean but there was trash and construction debris all outside on the property. The A/C didn’t work in our room. I waited in the office for 20 minutes ringing the bell. Finally I found the manager outside. Once I notified him about our A/C not working he agreed to replace it. Not only did the new A/C did not work either but they left spacing around the A/C for mosquitos and flies to get in all night. Terrible one night stay for my wife, me and our baby. Hot and bitten up all night."
