    Nice hotel near Cologne Airport

    I was here for work at DLR and wanted a nice quiet place and found this online. Its a traditional German Gasthaus/ hotel with rooms over a great burger joint, best I've had in Germany. Beer was awesome and cheap. Its traditional German architecture, with light tight window shutters and a tub. Nice double beds next to each other with traditional comforter. Bright settings and windows with nice views.

    Property was very clean. Very responsive to text messages too even if I was texting them in English. Good thing there is Google Translate to read their German messages. Close proximity to the Cologne airport. Fairly high stair climb going to the rooms but that is usually the case at least on most rooms that I have stayed in Germany.

    The worst hotel ever. DO NOT STAY HERE

    The room was up 3 flights of steep narrow stairs. The curtains were paper thin and only covered half the window. No breakfast and a pay machine (I had no change) for coffee . Everything self service and no sign of any staff.

    Das Zimmer wirkte relativ neu eingerichtet. Die Matratze ist gut und selbst für meinen alten Rücken verträglich. Die Duschkabine war ebenfalls ziemlich neu. Leider hat sich jemand auf die Ablage über dem Waschbecken abgestützt, sie war deshalb stark geneigt. Während der Öffnungszeiten der Küche sollten die Fenster besser geschlossen bleiben. Der Abzug muss ganz in der Nähe sein. Ich bin für Preis und Leistung zufrieden!!!

    Excellent Hotel and Management

    Very good hotel were nothing is to much trouble, only down side is the pillows which have no support they are feathered and go completely flat when laying on them, i asked for another but was still a bit uncomfortable and the quilt size for a single bed (very small ) apart from that 5 stars..

    Eine absolute Absteige

    Die schlechteste Unterkunft, die ich je hatte. Ein absoluter Albtraum. Ich habe noch in der Nacht ein „echtes“ Hotel gebucht und bin umgezogen. Muss ich noch mehr sagen?

    レストラン上の小さなホテル

    レストラン三階を改造した小さなホテルです。新しくて、ベッドは広くシャワーのお湯は豊富です。朝食は予約しておくとレストランにコンチネンタルが用意されます。チェックインはレストランで。駐車場は有りませんが、前の道におけました。レストランは安くて美味しく、ローカルビールも安いです(1.4Eですが、断らないと自動でお代わりきます)。 シャンプーやドライヤーは有りませんでした。

    Good place for a short stop

    The Hotel is basic - above a burger restaurant (very good). It was spotlessly clean but smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor and limited TV channels (less than 10 which worked without internet connection or subscription) lowered my marks. Good place for a short stop and close to Cologne Airport.

    Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit kl. Verbesserungen

    Essen: Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen, gute Portionen für angemessenes Geld. Gebäude/Lage: Nichts für Menschen die schlecht Treppen laufen können. Sehr enge recht stark verwinkelte Treppe. Keinen Parkplatz. Man muss schauen wo in der Straße Platz ist. Was jedoch unter der Woche schwierig ist wegen dem absoluten Halteverbot in der Straße. Am Wochenende ist das Parken einfacher. Bahnhof nicht weit entfernt, Aldi und Rewe ebenfalls in der Nähe. Zimmer: Zimmer eher klein aber sauber. Keine Haare, keine dreckigen Fugen oder ähnliches. Bett komfortabel, wer gerne eher hart schläft wird bestimmt gut erholt aufwachen. Badewanne mit Dachschräge, etwas unpraktisch bei größeren Menschen. Handtücher wurden bei den 3 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht gewechselt, das ist nicht gerade üblich in einem Hotel. Wer sonntags früh abreist hat keinen Ansprechpartner da alles noch geschlossen ist. Es gibt keine Rezeption die immer geöffnet ist.

    This property is ideal for a short stay if you are travelling to or from the Airport, which is very close. The neighbourhood is quiet and would appear to be safe, although the noise can be heard from the traffic on the highway which is up the road. The room, although basic was very clean, as was the bathroom. There is a small bar that serves food, it seemed to be very popular with the locals. Don't expect haute cuisine but the food is good and inexpensive. The beer is good as one would expect in Germany. Not much to see and do in the locality hence it would probably not be good for a long stay, probably better in the city, which I did not get the chance to see unfortunately. Would definitely stay again if I need a base close to the airport.

    Einmal und dann schnell vergessen...

    Ein Zimmer wo man meinen könnte man wäre noch bei 1975... Haare im Bett und der Bade Wanne. Matratzen die Stein hart sind und ein Kissen dasit Luft gefüllt ist. Ein trauriger Zustand ....
