Check in was easy. The receptionist, Laura, was lovely and very helpful.
The bed was excellent. Room very clean and spacious.
Our main problem was that the hotel is further from the town than we imagined.
There is a Repsol garage beside the hotel where we bought sandwiches. There is a very good (in our opinion, quite expensive) restaurant beside it but if we wanted to have a drink somewhere else, we would have needed to get a taxi.

Very friendly and caring staff. There was a variety of Food, snacks and drinks. The only issue is the shower room. Water was passing through the side of the door and the bathroom floor was very wet everytime someone had a shower. But overall, we had a pleasant stay. Nice restaurants and bars around too.

Clean, well-maintained, friendly / helpful staff (who spoke English well enough) within a few minutes walk of train station and across from night buses stop for Madrid. Next door to convenience store open late, down street from good pizza shop, across from huge well-kept park, safe neighbourhood. Nothing to the local area but nice break from crowds of Madrid if you want more seclusion.

Looking for a low cost clean and friendly hotel in Alcobendas look no further. As I was actively looking for a hotel in this area it was just what was needed.
However if you want to go into the centre its about 10 - 15 min walk to La Granja metro. This is about 30 mins travel ... but dont forget to change trains and platforms at Les Oliveros as the train reverses here :-) for both north and south bound journeys. Oh and if your a football fanatic you can get off at the Bernabue!

Best breakfast I think I have ever enjoyed, in lovely light room and excellent selection. Hotel common areas are a little tired but the room was spotless. Easy to use wi fi and a great place for food on the corner of the street , just 50 yards away.
