"I thought the Talbot was an excellent hotel overall - My room was newly refurbished and was very spacious- the bathroom was spotless and there was tons of tea & coffee! The leisure facilities too were of a very high standard. I would say that the bedroom corridors & carpets were showing a bit of wear & tear however ."

Kinsale Hotel & Spa

Kinsale Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"We spent only one night in Kinsale hotel and spa. The room was specious and the views were spectacular. We stayed in the harbor view room. Unfortunately we didnโ€™t have enough time to visit the spa but it looked amazing. Breakfast was great with so many options in it. The staff was who made this one night stay so good, friendly, helpful and cheerful. I couldnโ€™t fault them. The only negative for this hotel that you need a car to go to the city. It is close but you canโ€™t walk it because it is a bit away from anything. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the city but you need to book a taxi to come back. You need at least an hr to be able to get a taxi so make sure you pre-book your way back. The toilet floor seems to be noisy when walking over it. Other than that everything was perfect. I wish I had more time in Kinsale to enjoy the hotel and its views further."
