"We treated ourselves to a harbour view room which was nice but it does also look over the car park. We also chose it because we thought it had a private pool for residents - but in reality it is a public pool that hotel residents are allowed to use. Be prepared to share it with children's swimming lessons! The photos on the hotel site look like it is a spa pool just for us. The breakfast is AMAZING and the bed was super comfy."

"It was a treat to stay at The Talbot Hotel in Cork again. I arrived at 11 pm straight from the airport and was given a room in a quiet area of the hotel. The room was beautifully presented and I slept well. The decor is lovely and I would certainly book again to enjoy a longer stay."

"The staff was very helpful to adjust our stay because of the long day of travel we had. The hotel although very busy with weddings, funerals, etc. was able to handle all our needs. We had a very enjoyable breakfast and supper on site. The shower was excellent with great unlimited, hot water and good water pressure."
