10/10 Excellent

"Hotel is about 5mins walk from Nikko Tobu Station. Room size is quite big comparing to Tokyo. Daily Bathrobe, towels is provided. The amenities - Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash are nice to use too. Staff is friendly and approachable. The hotspring is superb to unwind after an entire day of walking and out exploring the town. If you are driving, there's a parking space right beside the hotel, remember to inform hotel so that you fan get some discount on the parking rate. Recommend to stay here if you are visiting Nikko."

"It was a nice and spacious place, surroundings are quite pleasant and not touristy. However, inside the apartment it was not very clean. There were food stains on the table, and food crumbs everywhere. The floor was not clean too, which is surprising by Japanese standards. In the day, it is bright and nice but that is a problem when the sun rises at 4.30am. The apartment and bedroom does not have any blackout curtains so once the sun rises, you cannot sleep well."

"Our family enjoyed staying in the quiet countryside. The reservation includes a breakfast and dinner buffer, which was delicious. They also have complimentary drinks and snacks from 3 to 6pm. The hot springs felt relaxing as well. The hotel is isolated, and the nearest convenient store is a 10 minute walk away, but the trees and mountains really make you feel immersed in nature. Great reset from the hustle and bustle of city life."

"Lovely small hotel in an absolutely beautiful part of Japan. The service was top-notch and the view from the room unmatched. The natural sulfur onsen was lovely and refreshing. Included dinner is tasty enough, but maybe not for the experienced Japan traveler - it assumes a very low level of knowledge of Japanese culture, so it feels a little bit 'novelty'. The breakfast is buffet-style which is not my favourite. Had a good stay here."
