There were a lot of things that detracted from the experience though: lifts not working, power sockets broken, heated towel rail permanently off, people playing in the pool with balls (despite this being prohibited), broken lockers… it sadly made an otherwise good experience frustrating. Although as it happens halls might have been more sedate! Stayed on a Saturday night. Event on site. Loud music, raging arguments in corridors / bedrooms adjacent to the 3 rooms we booked. Loud s”x, underpants in the car park the next morning and other detritus, glasses of beer etc The irony was having to pay a £15 surplus for a well behaved small dog. "
