"This was a country pub and hotel, easy to find 15 minutes from Bath…very comfortable and not a standard chain hotel, very much the Country Inn that we wanted"

"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel including attending a lovely wedding reception. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy. My only criticism would be that the pillows on the bed were too hard - one was not high enough, but two were too high. We had an issue with our car and therefore couldn't stay both the nights we had booked but the hotel staff were very efficient and were able to refund us the second night."

"Great location, finding parking wasn’t bad although it did cost us £25 to park for one night. The room didn’t have an expresso machine as advertised and we only had one coffee each on arrival and that was it. Would have been nice to have more coffee and milk. Minor details but makes the difference. Overall though, was satisfied with the stay and location. "
