Here’s a 250-word, casual Google Maps–style review for Citi Luxe Hotel, Chennai:
---
I stayed at **Citi Luxe Hotel** recently, and overall, I’d say it’s a decent *basic* hotel, but with a few things you should be aware of. The rooms are okay for a short stay, but the housekeeping isn’t done daily unless you specifically ask for it. Same story with the towels — they won’t replace them unless you request. Even the small room amenities like tea, coffee, sugar, and creamer sachets aren’t refilled every day, so you have to call the reception if you need anything.
Breakfast was also a bit of a letdown. It’s ordered from outside and they give only *one* breakfast per room, which was strange because I was staying with my son, and we still got only one portion.
However, the **location is definitely a plus point**. It’s very close to the Chennai Trade Center, which makes it convenient if you’re attending an event there. Getting autos is super easy, and the highway is close by too. There’s a good vegetarian restaurant nearby that serves delicious South Indian food — that was a big savior! Also, there’s a grocery store within walking distance, which is handy for quick purchases.
Overall, my experience wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. I wouldn’t say this hotel will be my first choice next time, but I won’t completely rule it out if I need something close to the Trade Center. Good for short, no-frills stays, but don’t expect full hotel-style service unless you ask for it.
