"The staff were friendly and kind, very helpful. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the young girl taking care of Breakfast was great! The property itself was old run down and falling apart! Its too bad! The ower needs to up date, replace rugs paint and fix the parts that are falling off. out side chair were dirty so could not enjoy sitting outside. The pool looked nasty, would not even put my feet in it. The owner should be ashamed!!!!! will never stay again and will pass this on to family and friends. what ashamed your staff is great they deserve to work in a better place."

"It's all automated. You get check in via site and receive a door code via text. I had to text asking for the wifi pass, but the replies were prompt. The bed was so comfortable, I got the best night of sleep in a long time and I'll be ordering some of the pillows and towels online. The tub is deep and a good soak was therapy for me. There's also a stand-up shower. The lodge is quieter than a hotel or inn and I could hardly hear other guests, though I still sleep with my favorite sound machine. It's a little farther from everything (Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake), but the trade-off is the comfortable room. There's no breakfast, but I usually go out anyway. Check-in after 4:00 pm and check-out by 11:00 am."
