"Cadence is such a lovely spot, the rooms are so clean, it's in a beautiful location convenient to so many activities and the staff and owners are wonderful! They treat you like family. They have an incredible restaurant on site that is one of the best in the area, their breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I love that they have a gathering area that is heated in all seasons that offers a place outside your room to relax by either an indoor or outdoor fire a must in the ADK!"

"The view of Lake Champlain is beautiful. We really liked the breakfast to go bar. Only one complaint. There were flies buzzing around room one. The windows were closed, but we could not see where they were coming in from."

"We are family of three that came from Canada and we booked this lodge coz they gave us good price. Check in was smooth and room was clean but only downside is that the room was lil bit dark at night due to lighting availability. There are only two small lampshade that is not too bright to light up the room. Other than, it was good experience to relax in this lodge."

"The hotel looked like it had recently been renovated. Everything was clean and tidy. I did not like the fact that the in room refrigerator did NOT have a freezer compartment to freeze our ice pack for the cooler we took into the mtns daily. The breakfast was great very similar to what we had last year in Houghton/Hancock MI. Great way to start the day. The front desk person we saw when we checked in was not as helpful as she could be. They should have a list of restaurants in the area that are available and what their hours are. We had this at the Country Inn & Suites and it was great. Here the person who checked us in said "google it". I don't live and die by google and did NOT have access to a computer or a smart phone. I am a senior and don't have those items by choice. They overbooked their hotel and some days we did not get towel changes without having to ask for them in the evening. Staffing issues need to be thought out better to prepare for bus tours groups that were constant during our 6 day stay. I liked the beds very comfortable mattress."
