"We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. "The booking details aren’t accurate on here from what the hotel told us. I don’t understand why there would be an option to pay later when the hotel said we can pay no later than 2 weeks in advance. We almost lost our room, and the communication wasn’t great. We spent 4 hours during a really busy time for us trying to figure out what was going on. We checked in fine, but I was getting charged twice and had to fix it with the hotel and spent more time and stress which was another inconvenience I had to deal with again during my trip and the short amount of time that we did have. I did enjoy my stay, but this was one of the most slippery resorts we’ve ever stayed at."

"Beautiful property with the space our family of 5 needed for sleeping. One thing we felt was missing is outlets as well as hooks in the shower or around room to hang up towels or wet swimsuits. Being as this is a hot springs resort, that seems to be a very needed thing in the rooms. Overall great experience however! "
