"What a phenomenal stay. Lidia, Ylenia and Donatella went above and beyond to assist us with planning excursions and ensuring that every aspect of our experience was extraordinary. Our wine experience with Luigi in an 800 year old cave with the symbol marking of the Knight Templar was a bucket list experience as was our romantic dinner in a private table overlooking the beautiful valley and Villa Cimbrone. The expert wine list and warmth made our 40th anniversary celebration very memorable. The two gentlemen who served us breakfast daily were fun loving and charming. Pascal and his wife Madalena took time to get to know us and treated us like family. This is the type of experience that people dream of having in Italy. Grazie mille for your expert care and hospitality."
"Great location. Close to shops and other restaurants. The view from the room is breathtaking with a nice patio to enjoy a cup of joe. Breakfast is a normal European meal but was tasty and filling. The restaurant was also delish and the service was fantastic. Francesca and Lorenzo def made the meal even more enjoyable. We actually saw them in the town square and they recognized us and we exchanged hugs. Really good people. The front desk was also very helpful. Francesca and others which I can't recall all their names. They also helped coordinate rides to and from the next town over. Roberto/Bartender was great. We bs'd quite a bit and his drinks were fantastic. Really just a great time and I can't say enough to all the staff who made our stay even better. We would definitely stay here again!"
"Location, location, location. If that is what interest you, then this hotel is a good fit for you however, the bathrooms had mold in the shower, broken tiles in the bathroom, the beds were harder than the cement they used to built the city. The pillows were old and they need to be replaced. The air conditioner didn't work that well. The breakfast was ok. The 2 ladies that worked the breakfast area worked really hard and kept that area clean. It's a bit loud even with the windows closed but it is manageable since it is across the street from the marina and across the church. Again, amazing location. The hotel could use a little update."
"This hotel is beautiful and has so much history. The views are magical and the restaurant, particularly our server, Giovanni, was phenomenal (best service we’ve ever had). However, as it relates to the amenities and cleanliness this is far from a 5-star experience. Our towels we received were dirty with dried blood, the entryway to the hotel had a swarm of some type of flying insects (gnats?), there was no shower in our room (the bath was nice but inconvenient for getting ready quickly or comfortably), and the toiletries were just very standard formulations you’d get at a Marriott. I would absolutely recommend going here for a lunch or late afternoon drink or an excellent dinner on the terrace but I wouldnt recommend staying here."
"Fantastic stay at Villa Amore. Pictures don't do the views justice when you are sipping your morning cappuccino on the balcony. Salvatore was a highlight of our stay from meeting him down outside of the piazza for our luggage service(highly recommend, lots of stairs and cobblestone paths from the tunnel to the hotel) to making us cappuccinos every morning, and just being super friendly when we were coming and going from the hotel. This was our favorite place to stay during our vacation throughout the Amalfi coast, 100% would stay here again."
"Great pool, breakfast and staff. Staff were very responsive prior to our visit and helped book a dinner reservation for my partner’s birthday. They also delivered cake to our table at breakfast that morning without asking. Absolutely incredible view! Perhaps one of the best in Ravello. Pool area does get covered by shade late afternoon/early evening.
Room was a little shabby, towels very thin so had to be changed daily, and toiletries provided were adequate only."
