"We were in the “standard” (read cheapest) room above the lobby and the bar/restaurant so that needs prefacing. The place is lovely but we found the noises and constant music from below to be a little more than acceptable. The only other complaint is that we wanted to report a problem after 10:30pm (after the staff appears to be completely vacated) and there is no number to call. Seems unbelievable considering all the calamities that could befall a hotel. "

"The resort was great overall. Check in and check out were easy and the concierge and cell staff were very helpful. The suite was clean and freshly renovated which was great for a two week stay. The alacarte restaurants were great - especially as an Expedia traveller, because we were able to reserve tables every night at the restaurants of our choice. The pool and grounds were beautiful, although the water in the main pool was chilly - even by Canadian standards. Special thanks to the activities crew who made the days fun, Angel, Vanessa and America in particular. Also thanks to the pool service staff. Manuel and Ismael were our two favourites! Thanks also to young Gabriel who served us every morning in the breakfast buffet with a smile and a great attitude. "

"Beautiful location, easy access to town, friendly and outgoing staff, delicious daily breakfast buffet. No USB ports in the room, no umbrella options for the beach lounges. Tons of umbrella pool seating options. Large gym facility overlooking a put-put golf course. "

"This hotel was spectacular and steps away from the center of the Art District. In fact you could see La plaza from our room. The room was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen which allowed us to cook when we wanted. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and there were even bikes available on loan. We loved staying in this area of town - so beautiful, especially at night when the streets were lit up with strung lights. So magical!"
