"The Ameristar Black Hawk is a great place to stay whether you plan to gamble or not. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are clean and staff is friendly. Not sure how they were able to build it in the middle of the mountains. Large parking garage connected to the hotel and multiple restaurants onsite. We stayed one night on our way from Idaho Springs to Estes Park."

"Clean room. All staff excellent and helpful. We used the pool and hot tub. Excellent! Our room was comfortable, quiet, perfect! We enjoyed 2 nights there."

"Clean and close to shopping "

"We had a room with a bathroom. Very nice, with a big bed. Breakfast was great and happy hour in the afternoon a pleasant surprise. Nice location adjacent to a hiking trail head. We were there in mid October, the super warm pool was hot-tub-like!! Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended. "

"Good variety of breakfast. Had some bean and cheese burritos and egg patties, a mini waffle maker. Rooms were cleane and staff was nice. Only complaint is the pool was closed for maintenance. Other than that would stay again. Really close to food options and the freeway"
