Barceló Cappadocia

"The hotel is beautifully laid out. The rooms are light and airy. The bed was one of the softer ones we found in Turkey, where so many mattresses are hard. There were a few construction/maintenance issues with our room (that are probably the case in other rooms). The thresholds were not made of solid wood and the laminate was peeling. The bathroom shower (while large, with easy push-buttons to control the rain showerhead versus the telephone showerhead) was not caulked properly, so the bathroom floor flooded. While you're there, definitely take advantage of the spa and pools--those were our favorite part. The hotel store is also surprisingly well stocked and reasonably priced. The one breakfast we ordered wasn't spectacular; however, that might have been because we ordered the American-style option, and we weren't in America. :) The dinner service was good and the restaurant staff were super polite and helpful. The air conditioning worked beautifully, all over the hotel!"

"You must stay here! When you are traveling, your hotel should feel inviting, safe and welcome. Carus staff does all of that. Special thanks to Gul in the restaurant and the nice woman who checked me in on Sunday June 28. My room was wonderful. Get the room with the French balcony. It is a huge room with lots of amenities. A fridge with cold water. Coffee and tea. Blackout drapes. An indoor pool. Great restaurant there - Haruna. I ate there every meal. Breakfast is a feast s as d all fresh food. You can get eggs cooked to order. All around great visit!! I plan to return and tell my friends to stay here."

"had an amazing stay at this cave hotel in Cappadocia! The property itself is absolutely beautiful and offers a really nice view. The location couldn't be better—it is so conveniently located near all the local restaurants and shopping areas. On top of that, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. A truly wonderful experience!"

"I absolutely loved this hotel! It’s a great location and the staff were very helpful with any questions we had and had great suggestions. Hanife was always ready to answer any questions we had with getting around the town and was always making sure we didn’t need anything. Doa was also super helpful also didn’t mind explaining guiding me through their delicious Turkish breakfast and telling me the best way to pair things. 10/10 would recommend this hotel. It is beautiful, clean, and at a great location."
