The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. We had a 3rd floor room which overlooked the canal. Great location! Train station opposite and bus stops outside for quick trips to city or Cheshire Oaks/ Chester Zoo/ Blue Planet Aquarium. Hotel a little dated but comfortable and clean.

The house suited our needs, however the lounge was upstairs although on the plans it was on the ground floor and we had elderly parents who couldn’t climb the stairs.
