"This was just the most beautiful hotel. It delivers everything promised, but far more in the way the staff treat their guests, and the general experience of our stay. "

"Lovely hotel with great staff.
There was such a lovely atmosphere in the hotel - traditional but in a modern setting.
There is a hotel shuttle several times a day to Garda as well as a local Complimentary tourist bus service which operates every half hour across from the hotel."

"The breakfast was excellent lady Giovanna was the best in the breakfast area: she prepared the food served to the customers and cleaned afterwards. She did everything the best way possible. 5 stars for her and the hotel"

"Great location, local bars restaurants & shops within a minutes walk. About a 35/40 minute walk into Bardolino. Nice breakfast. Would recommend a lake view room"

"All staff were so helpful.
Massages were amazing with Alesandra, best ever.
Location on main road not the best, surrounded by petrol stations and Eurospar but hotel and staff make up for it"

The view from room 602 (Mini-Suite) was jaw dropping and enhanced by the cloudless blue sky, mill pond view of the lake and a backdrop of the mountains with snow caps.
Hotel staff were exceptional in their attention to detail from the staff at reception and throughout the facility to the unsung heroes who ensured our stay was without any low points.
Beautiful room which was of an exeptional standard which wanted for nothing.

This is our 2nd visit to Residence Ca โ Del Lago. We had a wonderful holiday and will stay there again. The hotel is looking down on Torri Del Benaco so giving us a lovely view of the town, Lake Garda and the castle & Harbour not to forget a view of the beautiful sunset every evening. The property has friendly and helpful staff who are multi lingual so there is never a problem with a language barrier. The hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable and there is everything you need in the room,...

We were lucky to be upgraded to the new spa rooms which are excellent. spacious and well equipped.
Location is beautiful with stunning views high up over lake Garda and if you want to get away from it all, its ideal.
Dining options were good but some staff were new, food was good but more every day options would be good for residents
Could benefit from a social area, bar or similar
Be prepared for a 20 minute mountain road drive to access the hotel and visit Gargnano

We stayed here for 3 nights for part of our honeymoon. It definitely is 5 star. The room was fantastic and I would recommend booking a room with a lake view if possible. The view from our balcony was amazing. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the staff were very friendly.

Just returned from a lovely week at the Excelsior. The hotel is in a lovely position just outside the main town which was ideal as we were less than 5 minutes from the ferries and restaurants but more peaceful (apart from the night when a radio show was being broadcast from the nearest bar, although it wasn't unbearably loud). The staff were, without exception, excellent - polite, friendly and helpful.
We had originally booked a standard room which was ok, if rather small, but fortunately...

Hotel spotless, food fresh, tasty and really good value. All staff attentive and friendly with no request seeming to be too much trouble. Hotel next to a road although this didn't detract from an excellent holiday. Hotel shuttle bus available to transport guests into Garda town centre if wanted (also a free public bus service) but walk down not too far. We felt very lucky to have picked this hotel and would have no reservations in recommending a stay there to anyone thinking of visiting the...

Lovely hotel - one of the best we have stayed at and we travel a lot. Modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the dining rooms. We travelled out of season, so many local restaurants and activities were not available but the weather was still perfect which made our visit to Barolino even more special.

I surprised my boyfriend with this hotel for his 30th. The images looked amazing on the website, and when we arrived we were totally over the moon.
The hotel was something else, 5* service, Michelin restauraunt, beautiful decor, very scenic and peaceful location, it was a true romantic getaway, tucked away in the vineyards.
We booked an elegance room which has a hot tub, but our hot tub didn't work, so they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. The staff were a delight and happy to help and take...

Third time I have stayed. Welcoming traditional hotel in a good location. Pool was great, clean, plenty of loungers on new terrace area and not crowded.
A new snall gym with a good selection of machines.
Breakfast was lovely. Very Italian. Some people paid extra for fried eggs etc.
I had an older room. They're quite small and could do with fewer chairs! But have much more character than the new beige ones and the bed was really comfy.
