Good choice of boat. Good food, fun activities, pleasant service. They coped very well with requests for gluten-free food and no seafood. My original departure was cancelled due to tropical storm but they contacted me, arranged a new date that suited me and helped me sort my transport to and from Halong (from Hanoi and to Ninh Binh)

fantastic hotel right in the centre. the host was so lovely ad accommodating!! cant wait ti come back

We absolutely loved this cruise - although we booked to stay on Orchid Trendy, we were actually on Orchid Classic. I think the only real difference is that there were only 14 rooms on classic as opposed to 20 on Trendy so we were better off! We stayed in a family interconnecting rooms, accessible to each other via the wardrobe which the kids loved! Really excellent standard of room with a view to die for from the bed and bath. Great 'locals' location and lovely and helpful staff.

Beautiful, comfortable stay in secluded private area. The rooms were clean, there was a great air con, the beach side villa rooms had a view of the archipelago through the palm trees, dinner was reasonably priced for a resort, poolside towel provision, porter service, lovely stroll along the beach with beach bars with a great vibe. Breakfast had decent options with a chef to make omelettes. We were able to check in early even though we didn’t prearrange with no fuss at all. Friendly staff.

Was a lovely stay in a clean room with helpful staff. Unfortunately I was sick on my one full day there so did not explore the local area. The main bars seem to be a 20 minute drive away though.

The hotel was in a great location, the pool was closed due to it been off season but either way the hotel was clean, well equipped and the staff couldn’t have been for friendly and welcoming. they helped plan our h long bay day trip and we’re so accommodating with breakfast for us ready for the early trip. Overall great and well worth the money paid for.

A nice, well maintained and clean property. The staff don't speak any English which isn't a criticism as why should they, but they did everything they could to help us. This was perfect for a 1 night stay close to the airport prior to going to Halong Bay.
