"Staff were very helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was cooked to order and quite delicious with cereals, juice, tea and coffee available to help yourself. Disappointments were car park surface was very potholed (no tarmac) and no food available on arrival but it was a Bank Holiday Sunday and had to pay again for the room as the hotel had not received my payment from Hotel.com. I would normally expect the hotel to sort that out directly but I got a quick refund from Hotel.com and compensated for the hassle. I would stay again whenever I am in that area."

"Only thing that let it down was what we think was a sensor on the external door repeatedly beeping all night and the street lights shining through the top of the curtains making the room a bit too bright. Other than that it was an excellent stay, lovely pub, food, service, drinks and room. The homemade rhubarb drink was amazing "

"Very friendly and welcoming boutique hotel. Excellent breakfast served each morning and the team were only too happy to recommend the best places to visit and eat. Rooms were spacious and clean, with classy decor throughout. Bed exceptionally comfortable, we slept better than we do at home. Coupled with a convenient location, near the Farmers Dog and centrally situated for exploring the wider Cotswolds area. We would certainly stay again."

"A great stay at this hotel. Lovely comfortable room, great staff and a delicious breakfast. Handy for Burford Village. Our visit was to visit The Farmer's Dog pub which is approx. 3 miles away. We used a local taxi firm and were charged £20 each way. Highly recommend this hotel. "
