Quiet and Comfortable

I was in Cardiff for a choir convention to be held at St. David’s Hall downtown. I didn’t want to stay in the center of town and The Laurels was the perfect find for some peace and quiet away from the convention site. It is approximately a 15 minute drive from downtown and it was quite an easy commute. The hostess was kind and accommodating to my abnormal coming and going times. The room was fantastic, very spacious and very comfortable. And the bathroom was also spacious and a bit luxurious. Also, the breakfast was great (best breakfast sausages I’ve had at any hotel or BnB. The house is closed between 10:00 and 17:00 and that was fine for me as I was attending the convention during those hours. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice enough hotel, well situated for SanFfagan Museum but disapointed that the place was closed to guests between 10 and 5 even though we were paying guests.

Nice house close to wonderful St Fagans museum

Access to the property is limited to the hours 5 pm to 10 am even if staying more than one night. While the facilities used were excellent, the hostess was not very helpful in providing local information. A bus into the centre of Cardiff is available at the front gate and a pub serving a range of meals is available around the corner. The amazing St Fagans museum is across the road and worth a full day visit.

Nice room . very Quiet

Room was clean and it was Quiet .Julie was very helpful. Only five minutes by taxi Cardiff center.breakfast was nice.Thank you for a nice stay

Generally very good

Very comfortable, and excellent breakfast. Small criticisms were loose toilet seat in en suite and only two hand towels, no bath towel.

Good clean bed and breakfast

Nothing outstanding about it - accommodation and decor a little dated but clean and comfortable. Weird arrangement with our ensuite - just a curtain gave us privacy from the public landing en-route from our room to our bathroom but thankfully it wasn't busy! Also would have been lovely to be offered a veggie sausage with my cooked breakfast - I know we're few and far between but us veggies still enjoy all the trimmings of a full English even if they're quorn!!!

Excellent stay would have been perfect but ...

Away form the main city, not easy to find as there was no sign for B&B etc. The stay was excellent - only comments 1. no desk in large room useful for working from. 2. Internet did not connect 3. No decaff drinks.

A very comfortable B&B, easy to find, fine accommodation, breakfast, wifi, and all facilities as listed with a great pub for food around the corner.

Quiet B and B

Reasonable sized room. Ensuite on the small side but clean and well presented. No road noise overall very quiet. Breakfast good with everything cooked fresh.
