"A wonderful, well run hotel with amazing views and beautiful rooms and facilities. The location has its plusses and minuses. Away from Capri as it is means it’s quieter and away from the crowds too. It also means a $30 euro cab ride each way to have dinner if you want to eat off property. But mainly it means that you have the incredible views all to yourself. Anacapri is an easy walk. But it doesn’t have the flare of the further away Capri town center. Staff is friendly and helpful in whatever language you might need. "

"If you want to stay away from the crazy and touristy area of the port of Capri, and you don't want to break your budget, this is the place. It's high up on Anacapri, across the street from a 5-star hotel, so you get the views of the 5-star with the cost of the 4-star. The hotel is a beautiful old villa, with huge rooms, modern bathrooms (including a tub), fluffy white robes and slippers, and fabulous views. Staff was fabulously helpful and kind, and they PICK YOU UP with your luggage at the Capri port, no extra charge. Included breakfast was plentiful and fresh. It has a cool bar that in season (we went in April at the front edge) has music. It's a 10-minute walk to the chair lift up the mountain (go early in the morning before the cruises), and an easy b s ride to Lido Del Faro Beach Club which is totally worth the day. There is also a cool shopping area within a 5-minute walk. And because the island is small, you have easy access to the rest of Capri. We adored this hotel and it's wonderful staff, views, and amazing room. We highly recommend them!"

"Beautiful, quiet property away from the port. Staff attended to every detail ensuring a wonderful trip. Dining and shops are walkable (5-15 minutes.) If traveling with a lot of luggage arrange a porter to transfer your bags. Otherwise you will walk 10-15 with your bags once the taxi drops you at the last taxi stand. The views from the pool and check in area are tremendous. Possibly the best on the island. Breakfast was included and sufficient. We will be back. "

"Had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Floridiana. The service was exceptional! We were greeted with a complimentary drink on the beautiful balcony as soon as we arrived. Staff made every effort to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Food, pool, and room were excellent. "

"This place is a gem on the amazing island of Capri. The room was very comfortable, plenty of space, very clean, nice bathroom and large king size bed. We had a balcony with a sea view that was like something out of a fairy tale. We sat out there a lot. The staff was welcoming and exceedingly friendly. They really made us feel at home. The location is great. Price is quite reasonable as compared to hotels in the area which often have small rooms and tiny beds. My wife and I stayed two nights on our 12 day trip in Italy. Free breakfast was a nice benefit. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. Would definitely consider staying here again. "
