Occasionally whilst on your travels you stumble upon somewhere you really feel at home ... this is how it was when we stayed at 88 Baron van Reede. The accommodation was just perfect, comfortable and relaxing. Huw and Zoe, gave us a very warm welcome and spent quite some time, advising on local attractions and restaraunts to visit, even providing discount vouchers for some of them! Zoe's assortment of home made cakes, pastries and jams, were also a lovely touch, and the breakfast selection...

Location and atmosphere

I loved everything about Four Rosemead. The best thing about it were the people who looked after me and were beyond helpful before I arrived arranging my airport pick up, waiting for me when my baggage got lost and taking me back to the airport to collect it. I felt totally looked after. Thank you Jade and Four Rosemead!

Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable bed and living area was spot on. We were here as a couple but also a works trip and the location was perfect for both. Breakfast was excellent with wonderful service. Staff could not do enough to help us and make our stay perfect. This place is about 2 minutes walk from the beach and there are several nearby as well as small shops bars s and great restaurants Will definitely return if we get the chance.

Very comfortable room with good facilities. Enjoyed our stay. Will use again.

Lovely room, great staff, fantastic food & drink. Very happy to have stayed here

Fantastic location and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Amber on reception was incredibly helpful. The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too. Would definitely recommend the Lodge and will stay again.

Fantastic gem of a place, loved staying here and would happily re book on another trip. Anel was extremely helpful and the stay added to the SA experience

We had a wonderful stay at Kennedy's Beach Suite: our room had a lovely double bed with an electric blanket which was so cozy when we got home at night. We loved the Jacuzzi on the deck with a view of the waves and of the stars. Just a short 10 minute drive to Hermanus and the whales. It was private and luxurious. Tea and rusks in the room and cognac and chocolates on the pillow. Fresh fruit every day. It could not be faulted. Congratulations to Ymile and to James for their care. We thoroughly...

Had a lovely visit. On the second floor. Amazing shower and delicious breakfast

Great staff

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff, scenary, furniture, rooms and food are all wonderful. Highly recommended. Only gripe was that the pool was on the cool side, although this is true of hotels across South Africa. Franshhoek is a picturesque location, with great restaurants and relaxed vibe. You really need a car to explore the area, and will need to drive from town to the hotel (only 5 minutes, but too far to walk).

Very different as we stayed in one of the amazing tree houses. Very clean, loads of towels in the bathroom, tea and coffee tray very well stocked. Lovely friendly staff.

Me and my wife stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even left rose petals and sparkling wine in the room for us. The hotel has a very classic and stylish feel and contrary to other reviews which state noise being a problem we had no issues at all.

Nice location. Close to the V&A waterfront with lits of restaurants and coffee shops within a five minute walk. Staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. Room was clean ans spacious with a nice shower room. Didn't have chance to appreciate the swimming pool hut the breakfast was very nice with a large buffet offered as well as a variety of cooked and made to order breakfasts.
