Our stay at Maison D'Ail was exceptional. Everything was perfect, the room and bathroom were large and spotless, the decor throughout the property was tasteful and elegant, it was quiet and peaceful and the breakfast was great too. Amanda was extremely helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely go back when we next visit Franschhoek.
Very happy with our stay in Maison d’Ail! Beautiful location, nice big rooms and bathrooms and loved the breakfast. This is my second time staying in this cute little hotel.

Very nice guesthouse with fantastic staff.
A short walk from the center of Franschhoek with all restaurants and shops. Easy to book Uber if you dont like a walk down to center.
We enjoyed it and reccomend the place.
What a fantastic find! Absolutely loved the property. Gorgeous swimming pool, comfortable king bed with plush linen, spacious shower... Judy cooked us a delicious breakfast and corna was a perfect host who managed our booking from start to finish. All in all, such a lovely stay.
We loved our stay at Maison D’Ail! The room was spacious spotless and really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and so were all the staff. Beautiful outlook and a little walk down the hill into town, which we enjoyed, we’ll definitely be back
Very nice guesthouse that offers a complete package with good acomodation, excellent breakfast, thoughtful service and a good contact to the hosts. We will definitely come back.
A brilliant place to stay the staff is excellent the stay is awesome however make sure the payment details are correct
We were charged and paid up front when we booked (two installments)… and then the place said they did not get paid and we had to pay again.

I arrived and was told “you’re the unlucky one. Your room’s aircon doesn’t work”. It’s the last thing you want to hear when it’s 35 degrees outside. The friend I was travelling with was told that “you’re the lucky one, your rooms air con is working”. What amazed me is that I was the person that made the booking and the payment. That said, the face clothes in my room looked dirty and stained to the point that I asked for new ones as I wasn’t sure that they were clean. I was told that maybe they were stains from previous guests make-up. My toilet hadn’t been flushed from the previous guest and there wasn’t enough parking on the premises.
Hospedagem maravilhosa, muito confortável, café da manhã impecável, tudo oferecido com muito cuidado, cada detalhe do quarto, cama muito confortável. Que lugar lindo!
We had a lovely one-night stay at this guest house, just a short drive up a hill from the main street (likely would be too far to walk this at night). Our room had beautiful mountain views, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was cooked on order in the cozy open plan kitchen lounge area and was delicious! Highly recommend staying here, great value!
Great Guest house, perfect hosts and staff. Room 1 the luxury room was was amazing, loads of space, easy access to the centre, safe and secure with an amazing breakfast, well work s stay, sorry we could only stay for 3 nights, would have loved to stay longer
