We just got back from a 7 night stay. The resort is just the right size. Not too big, not too small. Staff was top notch. I think the main area that could improve is the food. It was just ok.

I have been to Mexico 5 times so I have something to compare this place to. The crew at the activity pool (Cash and Bruno and a few other guys) were excellent, they kept the energy going, got people to participate if you're into that kind of stuff. Drinks and Food - just OK. Before I booked I did tons of research, checked every Instagram posts and found a few blogs about Hilton. The food is 4 stars at most. Overcooked, oversalted Every fancy food item mentioned on social media was extra charge - EVERY. SINGLE.ONE. The drinks were a hit or miss but I'll give it a solid 4. Staff- friendly, pleasant but a HUGE difference in training and service from all other places I've been to in Riviera Maya. The hotel is extremely understaffed. No one greeted us and walked us to the check in when we arrived. The luggage guys were great, took our luggage immediately and then we just stood there. In about 10 minutes or so I went to ask where we should go, and we're given a strawberry drink that was really bad) Ocean-the biggest disappointment, rough, completely umswimmable and the beach is unwalkable, the pictures on the site are deceiving. Grounds-pools are nice, nice decks but ALL beds are covered in bird poop. Overall I will never go to Hilton or Cancun in general. Please don't get fooled by good reviews like I did, they are either fake or people have nothing to compare to. Go to any Riviera Maya hotel. This is a 4 star hotel at most. P.S. Rooms are TINY, we had to have suitcases on beds.

Theft is never ok! We had a large amount of cash stolen from our room! They literally had to dig through our belongings to find the cash, all was deep within our belongings. Don't trust the safes provided either! Housekeeping should clean the room NOT go through your stuff!! We've been going to Cancun and other areas of Mexico for over 20 years and never had anything stolen before. Of course they did their investigation and couldn't find anything, like housekeeping would admit this?? So disappointing to say the least. Many staff members seemed inconvenienced by the guests. Do better training Hilton. I would never go here or recommend anyone to stay here. When you can't feel safe on vacation...that's a problem!

Great hotel, great service but I was expecting more about the buffets. Personally I find them limited based on what mexican cuisine is about. This is the second time I've experienced something like that in the last couple of years in a hotel in cancun.I fee that buffets are more reduced compared to before covid. Some of us spend the little extra with higher expectations of food and personally I find that dissapointing.

The room was so clean and every day house keeping would refresh the room and restock all drinks and snacks in the room. Service at the restaurants and buffet was amazing and the food tasted great, even for picky eaters. The pastries in the cafe were nice as well. From making reservations to ordering room service, it was made very easy and efficient through their website. The beach was cleaned with a tractor every morning to prevent a build up of seaweed so the waters were crystal clear. There was also a lifeguard on the beach monitoring for everyone's safety. The sunrise can also be seen from your room which is beautiful. Lastly, the resort has activities all throughout the day and night so there is something for everyone to do. Also for those worried about safety, I felt very safe and the door had a physical stop in the inside preventing the door from being opened. I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay. Traveled with family. Loved the kids pool area. 4 out of 5 because out of the 5 days we were there we only liked two meals out of everything we ate at all the restaurants including the buffet.

First, the good: bathrooms were modern and spacious, with good amenities. Room was clean and the bedding was comfortable, if not exactly luxurious. The bad: Noisy. Hotel staff were moving furnitures in adjacent room at 2:00 - 3:00 am. The screeching noise disturbed our sleep. We had to complain three times before the front desk/concierge took any action. Our first two complaints were met with denials by the hotel, so we had to invite a hotel staff in the wee hours of the morning to verify that the complaint was legitimate. Also, the rooms are obviously not soundproof so you will hear loud, thumping music until 11:00 or so. The food: some restaurants were good or good enough, but avoid the buffet if you can. Some of the food was downright inedible, especially the beef and sausages. And the service is very slow. Expect a 20 minute wait before they take your order. The beach: Not great. Not the white sandy beaches one imagines of Cancun. The staff: Some were nice, a few were grumpy. When we asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail, one server suggested we just drink water.

We stayed here for a week and it was a great experience. From checking in, to room service, bartenders and entertainment team all of them made our stay memorable. Good food at the restaurants but main buffet could of been better. Just not much of Mexican food options. I would definitely go back.

I traveled to this resort May 2024 with my children aged 14 and 10. I was nervous about traveling alone with my children to Mexico but this resort was amazing and my mind was immediately settled once we arrived. The resort was clean, safe, and beautiful. This is a great place for families. I have been to Cancun a handful of times but this was my best experience. The food here is much better than other resorts I have stayed in. All 4 of the reservation-only restaurants on site were great. Property maintenance is excellent. I would like to mention that the service in this resort is above and beyond. Everyone was so incredibly polite, attentive and helpful. The entertainment team, Carlos, Betty, Bruno and Kax made pool days so much fun for my family. My kids both participated in many poolside activities and games and were treated like family. The service team: Miguel from dinner at Vela was so helpful in suggesting local family activities; Pedro always remembered our drink order even before we sat down for breakfast and lunch at Vela and was so polite and welcoming always; Edier at Flama Steakhouse was attentive and so polite; Our servers at Luce, both named Carlos, were so kind to us and helped celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday making the evening so special when the staff all sang to her and brought out a dessert. We felt like family here. When I travel I typically want to try a new place every visit, however, after last week’s experience, we found our home in Cancun!

Check in was at 3 didn’t get our room till almost 7.Mini bar wasn’t stocked properly. Got talked into upgrading to enclave for an additional $900 not worth it at all. That was just the first 2 days food was not that great which I know they go for tourist but I’d give the day time food 2 stars

What an experience ! All inclusive is the way to go.. my only negative review buffet food is cold ! But dinner options from noriku la luce the teppanuci etc was amazing .. staff was outstanding .. lobby bar the best drinks! Check in 3 and agter so make sure to bring bathing suit for your wait time !

The resort is nice. The quality of the food is low. It’s priced a little bit low for an all inclusive but this is because the quality of the food is low. Service and the facility was excellent. Rooms are ok.

The property was beautiful, the service was great, and the entertainment team was phenomenal. Our trip was spent by the pool enjoying the amazing activities facilitated by the wonderful, energetic, and friendly entertainment team. An amazing place for kids and adults with so much to do. Carlos and Beth, by far, were the highlight of our trip and made it feel like there was no reason to leave the resort—all the fun, relaxation, and beach time we needed was right here!

Honestly from check in to check out it was a great experience . The Japanese restaurant is a must try ! Every single person from the staff was so nice and friendly . The rooms are in great condition . The food was pretty good for an all inclusive resort . Would definitely go back to this resort !

Just returned from our 6 days vacation and for my first time doing an all inclusive vacation, Hilton Mar Caribe did not disappoint. The check in went alright but had to wait for our turn since there were a lot of people checking in. They did allow us to eat in the buffet while we wait for our turn. Buffet food were good and have plenty of choices. The staffs around the pool constantly checks if we needed anything. I like most of the restaurants but my favorite is the Italian place (La Luce, I think). Since we had our toddler with us, I just hope they have more meal options for kids in the restaurants. Restrooms are clean but I wish there are stools for my child to step on so he could wash his hands easier. Still we had fun and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

My wife and I traveled with our 12 and 15 year olds. Had an ocean front room that was literally on the ocean which was beautiful. Food was good overall. Steak house, hibachi and Italian were all good. Standard/Good breakfast Buffett. We ate lunch at the grill that they have by the pool… has burgers, wood fire pizza etc. You can’t make dinner reservations until you get there. We didn’t have any issues getting reservations. small water park was good for our youngest. Great staff, rooms were clean. Basically a new/updated resort. Plenty of chairs at pool and ocean. Life guard on duty which helped keep us safe/redirect to another area when the ocean was rough. There is a general store on-site. There is also a small pharmacy about 2 blocks away that you can walk to (I felt safe) if you need sun block, meds etc.

The staff is very nice and they keep the place really clean. We loved the food options at the buffet but wish that other restaurants are open for lunch as well. Dinner at the restaurant was good. My favorite was La Luce. The resort is kid-friendly which is what we were looking for. We enjoyed our stay!

Ocean view is phenomenal and good size balcony. Buffet food was bad and cold. Italian restaurant for dining was disagreeable. Alcohol drinks are water down and all of them taste the same. Overall quality of food needs improvement Room service sometimes they didn't answer and i called more than 20 times. Delivery took at least 45 mins and a few times they didn't show up.

Property layout is fantastic. Perfect ocean view from the room. They clean our room everyday. Beach is beautiful -turquoise color. Wifi works great The beach bar closes at 5pm hours need to be extended. Alcohol drinks are water down and quality of ice is terrible they melt very quickly. Buffet food was cold and not good. Italian restaurant was horrible they do not have a classic alfredo pasta which you would find in any Italian. They do not have quality food. I got food poisoning

My stay was incredible. The rooms/grounds were so beautiful and clean. The staff was amazing everywhere you went. This was my first time in Mexico, and I cannot recommend this resort enough. The buffet options were amazing. The restaurants were delicious. Noriku was my personal favorite. The only thing that was a little shady to me was at check in they wanted a credit card on file and were trying to charge me $400 for an upgrade that I didn’t want. When I said I didn’t want that they brought it down to $100. I rejected that as well and they didn’t end up putting my card on file. Asking for an upgrade rather than forcing the upgrade would probably be received better. Just be aware of that if they ask for credit card.
