"We had a funeral to attend that weekend. A lot of hotels were sold out because it's a popular time of year. I knew nothing about the hotel,so I was a little skeptical. I reserved two rooms. I cannot tell you how pleased I was. The staff was extraordinarily helpful. The room was very nice. Our beds were made with very white sheets and bedspread. The bathroom was very clean. A big surprise was the restaurant. I walked through it on our way to the visitation. When we were looking for a restaurant after the visitation, my son suggested the restaurant at the hotel. I said I thought it was too much a sports bar-type atmostphere and I thought we should look for something else. My 32-year-old son pointed out it was a 4 star restautant, so I acquiesced. It was a Friday night, sold out, the receptionist said if we'd wait 15 minutes, she thought she could squeeze us in. She did. The food was TERRIFIC. We all had something different and we all thought it was great - fresh, prepared as we requested, and delicious. The whole experience turned out to be a soothing balm for travelers who had traveled to a very sad situation. Thank you."
